A monumental Spanish style Renaissance Revival sideboard buffet cabinet with carved knights in armor. The cabinet consists of a central compartment with double doors featuring two coats of arms with knight’s helmets. Each of the side doors depicts a knight in armor carved in high relief. Each door has a lock for which there is a key. There are four drawers beneath each of the cabinet doors. The cabinet is raised on hairy lion’s paw style feet and with iron stretchers. There is a label on the back of the cabinet for a furniture store in Nice, France, and a delivery dress in Spain. The wood species in uniditentifed but may be maple or beach. This cabinet is likely mid 20th Century in age.

The cabinet measures 54 3/4” high x 98 3/4” wide x 22 1/2” deep. There is some warping to the doors that make these difficult to close and lock, but they can function. There is some slight scratching, but is minor. There are no shelves to the interior, but there are shelf clips in the adjustable holes which would accommodate glass shelves.
