A gilt bronze sculpture of a knight holding a lance and shield with a sword at his side. The armor features small jewels for decoration and the piece is mounted on a circular raised slate base, all on a cylindrical composite base with brass upper and lower rim. The bronze is in very good condition with only slight bending to the sword. The slate base shows wear and the brass bottom rim has some small separations from age and use.

The overall sculpture measures 23.5" tall and the diameter of the base is 9". This bronze has adorned my kitchen island for several years and is from our personal collection.
