This painting by Theodore Sevigne, a French artist depicting a Siege at the Castle Gate.  It measures 22” x 26” and overall with the frame measures 32” x 35 1/2”. The painting has had some previous damage that has been professionally restored in the past, but there are some issues with paint chipping that should be addressed.  The frame is contemporary, probably last half of the 20th Century, but the painting is clearly 19th Century, and has beautiful bright colors.
