This painting by Edmund Niemann hangs over the bed in my master bedroom. It is smaller than his other paintings, but I think it is more well done.  It measures 16” x 24” and overall with the frame measures 27” x 35”.

What I really like about this one is the distant castle or church steeple, the pink tinged clouds from a sunset and the crescent moon in the sky. The painting previously sold at Christie’s London in I believe 1993, and I have a copy of the catalog from that sale.
