This painting is by Scottish artist Duncan Cameron (1837-1916) and depicts Portencross Castle in Scotland. It measures 16” x 24” and is in a nice gilt frame with name plaque.  With frame measures 25 1/2” x 38 1/2”. The painting is signed lower left.

The painting has a small repair to the canvas and has been professionally conserved, cleaned and varnished by Chicago Fine Art.

It is somewhat of an impressionist style painting but an accurate depiction of the castle itself.
