Spanish Renaissance Style Polychromed Carved Pine Hall Chair, 20th c., the knight carved crest over a heraldry carved back above a serpentine seat on a lyre form trestle base. Each of the pieces of the chair come apart, the back lifts out and there is a peg or wedge that holds the bottom portion on the seat.

The dimensions are H.- 43 in., W.- 15 in., D.- 16 1/2 in. Condition is consistent with age and use. Fairly sturdy construction with slight movement until joints settle. 20th century. Some chip loss is observed at the crown. Some chips are also noted near the back and at the back of the base. Some scratches, paint wear and losses are noted to the seat. A very unusual chair.
