An oil on canvas painting by Belgian artist, Alex de Andreis (1880-1929) depicting a Courtier in green with a lace collar and wide-brimmed hat. The clean-shaven man stands before a leaded glass window looking directly at us.

The painting is in excellent condition. The gilt frame has a crack in the upper left corner and lower right corner. There are small pieces of the rolled edge missing and there is a small missing element from the bottom center that can be seen in the photos. The painting site area measures 13 1/4” x 10 1/4” and with the frame measures 20 1/2” x 17 1/4”.
