An oil on canvas painting by Belgian artist, Alex de Andreis (1880-1929) depicting an elegantly dressed musketeer in red holding a musket, standing full length, in an interior.

The site area of the painting measures 35 3/4” x 28 1/8” and overall with frame measures 42 1/4” x 34 3/4”. The painting was conserved mid-Century with documentation verso. The frame was likely replaced at the time of conservation but is attractive and fits the piece. This is larger than most of the artist’s paintings.
