This painting by Albert Friederich Schroeder (1846-1916) is a German tavern scene. The painting is in excellent condition. The frame has had some repairs but looks very good.

The image size measures 29” x 32”. The frame is 5 1/2” wide which makes the overall about 41” x 43”.  It has great detail. Love the painting on the wall behind the group of men and even the wrinkle in the oriental rug on the floor, and the mirrored candle sconce on the wall. The painting is on canvas and is signed lower left.
