Pair of Antique Silver-Plated Knight Figures manner of the Tomb of Maximilian in Innsbruck

$995.00

This is a pair of antique figures, believed to be silver-plated bronze, highly detailed and in the manner of the figures guarding the tomb of Maximilian in Innsbruck, Germany. The figure on the left of Theodoric the Great and the figure on the right, King Arthur. Both are dressed in armor, the left holding a halberd and shield and with a sword on his hip. The visor of his helmet turns upward to reveal the face. The figure on the right holding a sword, and apparently missing his shield. His visor also lifts up, but does not stay in the upward position.

The figures are attached to a base with square nuts, and all in what appears to be heavy silver-plate. There are no hallmarks on the figures. The measure approximately 7.5” tall and weigh approximately 1 pound 11 oz each.
